DIPLOMATS IN ANKARA
Ankara City Council is an umbrella organization for 3.000 civil society organizations working for Ankara city dwellers. It is designed to address all needs and solve all problems of Ankara city dwellers by bringing them together in activity groups to interact with each other. Ankara City Council also has a large historical public park in its use for activities.
Since Ankara city is home to nearly 150 diplomatic representations we deem the members and dependents of diplomatic missions as Ankara city dwellers and wish to address their needs working and living in the city as well as to contribute their cultural interaction with Ankara city dwellers.
Diplomacy Assembly is a group of people within the Ankara City Council who would like to promote Ankara for foreign diplomats and in return introduce the cultures of foreign diplomats to Ankara city dwellers. We organize Ankara old city tours for diplomats and their families as well as tours to ancient towns nearby Ankara.
We also open our premises (both covered and open air) for cultural promotional activities of diplomatic missions.
We also organize tours for cycling enthusiasts and nature lovers in nearby towns of Ankara. All our activities are free. So join us for a cup of coffee/tea in Ankara City Council to discuss more about what we can do more for you and Ankara city dwellers.
